Mr. Zakir Nuriyev is the main shareholder of the bank since its foundation in 1993. Previously he was employed at various positions at Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan including Director of Finance Department. Mr. Zakir Nuriyev had served 2 terms as President of Banking Association of Azerbaijan during 10 years (1996-2006). He graduated from Azerbaijan State Economics University in 1981.
