As part of our financial literacy project, we continue to support the development of entrepreneurship in the regions.
The event brought together representatives of the public and private sectors, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts to support regional entrepreneurship, expand digital transformation opportunities, strengthen the business environment, and encourage new partnerships.
The summit was jointly organized by MUSIAD, TECHERA, and QIAD, with the support of the Guba District Executive Authority and the gold sponsorship of Rabitabank OJSC.
More than 130 companies and organizations from Guba and surrounding regions participated in the exhibition, showcasing the region’s business and entrepreneurial potential. Exhibitors representing agriculture, industry, tourism, innovation, and services presented their products and services to visitors. With approximately 10,000 visitors throughout the day, the event demonstrated strong interest in expanding business relations, creating new partnerships, and promoting regional entrepreneurship.
During the official opening ceremony, government officials, members of parliament, representatives of international organizations, and business leaders discussed regional entrepreneurship development, investment opportunities, public-private partnerships, and the creation of an innovative business environment. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, increasing employment opportunities, developing skilled professionals, fostering university-industry collaboration, and the impact of digital transformation on the regional business ecosystem.
As part of the summit, Orhan Gultekin, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rabitabank, spoke about the banking sector’s role in financing entrepreneurship, improving access to business loans, and supporting regional economic activity. He noted that expanding financial solutions that contribute to the development of the real sector and the sustainable growth of entrepreneurs remains one of the Bank’s strategic priorities.
Later, as the event’s Gold Sponsor, Rabitabank organized a dedicated meeting with entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on future cooperation opportunities and business expansion in the regions. Discussions also covered financial literacy initiatives implemented by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, access to business financing, secure and sustainable financial resources, Islamic banking products, and innovative banking solutions. Bank representatives also answered participants’ questions regarding banking services and financial instruments.
